Revanesse® Versa™

Revanesse® Versa™is a hyaluronic acid dermal filler that can be used to add volume to areas of the face. Using only premium quality hyaluronic acid, Versa™can reduce the appearance of wrinkles including nasolabial folds. Versa™is FDA approved for the correction of both facial wrinkles and creases, and uses a spherical particle shape to allow for longer-lasting results with slower breakdown times. Ideal candidates for Versa™injection treatments are men and women who desire restored volume to areas of the face. Versa™is especially beneficial at decreasing the appearance of nasolabial folds, also known as smile lines or laugh lines. Candidates for Versa™should not be pregnant or breastfeeding, have scars at the intended injection site, be allergic to hyaluronic acid products, or have a history of hypertrophic scarring or keloid formation. During your consultation, one of our experienced dermatologists will be able to assess whether or not you are a good candidate for Versa™injections.

Prior to your treatment session, your dermatologist will meet with you to understand your desired aesthetic goals. A member of our team will be able to answer any questions you may have about the treatment process before it begins. Once a treatment plan is discussed and created, patients will be encouraged to relax while the treatment area is prepped. Typically it is not needed, but a local anesthetic may be applied prior to the injections. Each of our injectors is specially trained to ensure your safety and to provide successful outcomes. The entire injection process is relatively quick, lasting about 15 – 30 minutes in total. Once the patient is numbed topically. 

Following treatment, a member of our team will provide you with at-home care instructions to ensure proper healing. You may experience some slight bruising and swelling that can be remedied with a cold compress or ice. For any pain, over-the-counter medications such as Tylenol can be taken. Side effects typically subside within a week or so depending on the area of injection. Most often, patients see results within hours of their treatment. Results can last up to six months before another treatment is needed; however, this may vary from patient to patient. Although it is a rare occurrence, if you experience any long-lasting or abnormal side effects, you should contact our office immediately.
