MEET DR. RIDDLE
Dr. Ashley Riddle is a dermatologist in Austin, Texas, specializing in both medical and procedural dermatology. She combines her extensive education with a deep commitment to evidence-based medicine to provide the best possible care to her patients. In her free time, she enjoys singing and playing guitar and bass in a local cover band.
SKILLS AND SPECIALTIES
Dr. Riddle excels in diagnosing and treating a wide range of common and rare dermatologic conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rheumatologic conditions, and skin cancer. She is skilled at performing dermatologic surgeries, including excisions of skin cancers and benign lesions such as moles and cysts. She is trained in cosmetic dermatologic procedures such as injection of Botox and filler and laser treatments.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Originally from North Carolina, Dr. Riddle graduated as Valedictorian from North Carolina State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She received her Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees from the University of North Carolina, followed by an internship in Internal Medicine at Carolinas Medical Center. She completed her dermatology residency at the University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School, serving as Chief Resident in her final year.
ACHIEVEMENTS AND AFFILIATIONS
Dr. Riddle has authored numerous publications in peer-reviewed medical journals and presented her research at national conferences. Her work spans surgical dermatology, cutaneous oncology, and hidradenitis suppurativa. She is an active member of the Travis County Medical Society.
